Content Creation Project
Ponto Verde
Content Strategy & Organic Community Growth
A content-driven project focused on growing a local food market's digital presence, promoting organic food awareness, and supporting local producers through strategic, community-centered communication.
Overview
A local market with a story worth telling
"A community-driven market, regional producers, and an untapped digital opportunity — the conditions were right for content to do meaningful work."
Ponto Verde was a local food market that brought together regional producers to present and sell products such as vegetables, honey, homemade sausages, and other artisanal goods. The challenge was to create content that could both highlight these products and educate the community about the value of organic food and local commerce.
The goal was to build a recognizable and trustworthy digital presence for the market while helping strengthen its relationship with the local audience — growing from zero to a real, engaged community.
The Challenge
Three problems that shaped the strategy
Challenge 01
Starting from zero on Instagram
The account had no existing audience, no brand recognition online, and no prior digital strategy. Every follower, every piece of reach, every ounce of trust had to be built from scratch — organically.
Challenge 02
Balancing promotion with education
Simply posting products wasn't enough. The content needed to be genuinely useful — informing the audience about organic food and its benefits — while still communicating the value of what the market offered.
Challenge 03
Organic food awareness in the community
There was a real opportunity to raise awareness around organic and locally produced food — positioning Ponto Verde not just as a market, but as an advocate for healthier, more conscious choices within the city.
Objective
Develop a content strategy that would help Ponto Verde build an engaged local audience, communicate the value of organic and locally produced food, and create stronger visibility for the market and its producers through consistent organic content.
My Role
What I brought to this project
This was a fully integrated engagement — from defining the strategic direction to executing every piece of content. The work required thinking across channels, formats, and audience needs simultaneously.
Approach
How the strategy was structured
The content strategy wasn't built around posting frequency — it was built around purpose. Each piece of content was designed to serve a specific role for the audience and the brand, anchored in three clear content pillars.
Content Pillars
Pillar 01
Product Visibility
Showcasing the market's products and producers in a visually compelling, accessible way — building appetite and awareness simultaneously.
Pillar 02
Educational Content
Informative posts that explain the benefits of organic food and help the audience make more conscious, healthier choices — creating real public value.
Pillar 03
Community Support
Amplifying the voices of local producers and building a digital space that felt genuinely connected to the people and businesses it represented.
Product-Focused Content
Making the market's products feel worth seeking out — visually and editorially.
- Showcasing fresh and artisanal products in a visually attractive, appetite-driven way
- Highlighting the diversity of local production — from vegetables to honey and sausages
- Making each product feel accessible and worth discovering
Educational Content
Building trust by offering the audience something useful before asking for their attention.
- Informing the audience about the benefits of organic food in approachable, plain language
- Raising awareness around healthier, more conscious food choices
- Creating content that added value beyond promotion — building credibility over time
Community Building
Making producers and customers feel that the market was theirs — not just a place, but a community.
- Giving individual producers visibility and amplifying their stories
- Strengthening the connection between the market and the local population
- Building an online presence that felt authentic, warm, and community-centered
Organic Growth Strategy
Growing without paid media by making content worth sharing — and an account worth following.
- Consistent publishing rhythm to build algorithmic and audience trust
- Content designed for shareability — useful, local, and visually clear
- No paid advertising: every follower earned through genuine relevance
Outcome
What the strategy achieved
0 → 1,000
Instagram followers in 12 months
The account grew from a blank slate to a 1,000-follower community in one year — entirely through organic content, without a single euro in paid advertising.
Zero paid media investment
Every follower gained came from content quality, consistency, and community relevance — proving that a strong strategy can outperform budget.
Increased visibility for local producers
Individual producers and their products gained a digital presence they didn't have before — helping them reach beyond their immediate network.
Stronger digital identity for the market
Ponto Verde established a recognizable, trusted online presence — a digital home that reflected its values and connected the market to the community it served.
By combining product storytelling, educational content, and community-centered communication, the project helped Ponto Verde grow its Instagram presence organically and strengthen its role as a visible and trusted space for local food and producers.
Key Learnings
What this project taught me
Growing an account from zero is one of the most honest tests of a content strategy — there's no existing momentum to lean on. These are the insights I carried forward.
Organic growth is absolutely possible with consistent, relevant content — but it requires patience, clarity of purpose, and a clear understanding of who you're talking to.
Educational storytelling builds stronger audience trust than promotional content. When people learn something from you, they come back — and they share.
Community-led content strengthens more than just the brand — it creates a ripple effect that benefits local producers, the market, and the audience simultaneously.
A well-executed content strategy can create real, measurable impact without paid media — and that impact is often more durable because it's built on genuine audience connection.

Reflection
"This project showed me how strategic content can do much more than promote products. By combining education, storytelling, and community visibility, I was able to help Ponto Verde grow organically and create a stronger connection with its audience."
Growing from zero to 1,000 followers without paid media taught me that a clear, consistent strategy — one that prioritizes value over volume — is more powerful than any budget.
The most important lesson wasn't about Instagram metrics. It was about the role content can play in strengthening local ecosystems — giving voice to producers, educating communities, and helping small businesses build the trust they need to grow.
